MPYCC to protest demonetisation

Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee is all set to launch different forms of protests against the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8, 2016, MPYCC president Amir Huisen said in a press meet held at Congress Bhawan at BT road.
On December 27 and 28, the Indian Youth Congress held an executive meeting at Delhi wherein the issue of demonetisation was discussed.
The meeting resolved to launch various forms of protests against demonetisation including a State press conference on January 2, district level press conference and ChaurahePeCharcha at LYC/DYC level on January 4 and 8, submission of memorandums to BJP MPs, MLAs in their houses with a bouquet on January 16 or 17, memorandum to the DM, Collector, Governor and president of India on January 18 or 19, launch of signature campaign to gather support against demonetisation on January 20 or 21, one-day State level agitation on January 21 or 25 and a National level agitation on January 28, Amir Huisen said.
He has further urged the masses to join MPYCC in their protest against demonetisation.
