Play on 'Tangkhul Nurabi Loutarol ' enthralls crowd in Ukhrul

'Tangkhul Nurabi Loutarol' section of Umang Lai Haraoba was staged by Taorem Tomchou and his party on the day 3 of Shirui Lily Festival at Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) Ground, Ukhrul today.
The play became the main highlight of the day 3 event as a large crowd of onlookers were left enthralled by the terrific performances of the artistes.
Speaking exclusively to The Sangai Express, Alan Zimik, one of the senior citizens of Viewland village, said, "Ever since the festival started, we all had been waiting for Tangkhul Nurabi Loutarol to be performed and we are amazed by the outstanding performances of all the artistes.
The roles were performed so well that we were emotional throughout the play" .

Alan Zimik opined that such cultural programmes, if organised frequently in various parts of the State, will strengthen the bond of peace and love among the people of the State.
During a brief interaction with The Sangai Express today in Ukhrul, Taorem Tomchou, "We are very delighted that we are able to stage Tangkhul Nurabi Loutarol section of Umang Lai Haraoba during the Shirui Lily Festival in Ukhrul" .
Mutum Maniton, convenor, Umanglai Kanba Lup said, "Tangkhul Nurabi Loutarol was staged not only to highlight one of the sections of Umang Lai Haraoba but mainly to depict the cordial relationship people of both hills and valley have since time immemorial" .
