ASUK urges fair examination practices

Alliance for Socialist Unity, Kangleipak (ASUK) has urged the students and the authorities concerned to practice fair and honest examination in light of the class X and XII exams of CBSE which began from March 9 and the class X BOSEM and XII COHSEM examination on March 17 and 20 respectively.
A press note released by organisation stated that a Special Task Force (STF) has been established under the organisation's Campaign for National Regeneration (CNR) aimed at ensuring quality education in the State.
It said that the STF has imposed a curfew in the areas within 200 metres of every examination centres and prohibited the students and invigilators from carrying any kind of mobile phones, tablets, cameras, books, pieces of paper or items which can be misused.
It prohibited the invigilators from helping or providing tips to the students regarding their papers in any way during their examination and stated that the OC of the examination centre shall face the consequences of such actions.
STF further prohibits anyone from obstructing the operation carried out by the Council/Board/Flying squads in matters regarding cheating and use of unfair means by the students and further threatened against uploading any kind of original question papers or hoax question papers by anyone in social media, it stated adding that the STF would keep strict vigil and punish the rule breakers accordingly.
