For the second consecutive day, Manipur recorded only one fresh COVID-19 case while four persons recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.
The lone case was detected at JNIMS and he hails from Senapati district, said a report of the Government COVID-19 Common Control Room.
With this, the total number of Covid positive cases has reached 29,311 while the number of recovered cases has touched 28,911 with a recovery rate of 98.63 percent.
The number of active cases is 27 and death toll due to disease remains at 373 .
Meanwhile, the 4 persons who recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours include 3 who were under home isolation.
The remaining person has been discharged from COVID-19 Care Centre of SHRI, said the report by Additional Director, Health, Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
The cumulative number of Covid positive cases is 29,311 including 25,877 civilians and 3,434 Central security personnel.
The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,911 including 25,482 civilians and 3,429 Central security personnel.
The number of active cases is 27 including 26 civilians and one Central security personnel.
On the other hand, as many as 1,143 people were vaccinated against Covid yesterday.
The total number of people inoculated so far has reached 75,463 including 30,707 healthcare workers, said the Government report.
