Senapati, May 14 2010: The Khurmi Region of the NSCN-IM has clarified today that its cadres were not involved in the May 11 night looting and harassing of transporters along the Imphal-Moreh road.

John refuted the media reports dragging the outfit's name into the May 11 night incident.

"We are now holding the peace parleys with the government of India seriously and we will never indulge in such incident," said the NSCN-IM leader.

The CAO of Khurmi region then cautions the media and individuals or any organisation not to create such 'propaganda' in order to tarnish the name of the NSCN-IM.
