Imphal, July 29: To protest the failure of the Government to take any action and cleanse the Health Department, ten members of the Manipur International Youth Centre and women folks of Nupi Keithel, Laxmi bazar and New Market today gheraoed the Chief Minister, Ministers and MLAs while they were on their way to attend the morning session of the Assembly today.

The activists gheraoed the legislators near the Kangla traffic point.

The protestors also carried placards and shouted slogans.

The activists were also protesting against the proposal of the State Government to construct a new market shed at Nupi Keithel, Laxmi bazar and New Market.
