Imphal, February 27: Former chief minister RK Dorendro has been chosen as the leader of the BJP legislature wing today under the supervision of BJP West Bengal unit president.

Talking to the Manipur Mail this evening he said, democracy is the game of numbers.

Only the physical verification will prove which side commands more MLAs.

The claim made on papers only is unacceptable.

He ridiculed the manner with which the Secular Democratic Front led Congress was formed.

There were no common minimum programmes.

All were done just for getting power.

He expressed the confidence that the Governor of Manipur Ved Marwah will bring out stability aspect before extending the go ahead signal to whichever parties staking claim to form the government in the state.

The stand taken by the Governor or UP will also be applied here in Manipur, he said.

He was of the view that the claim without any physical verification is unacceptable.

He also said the party is yet to seek formally help from the like minded parties.

If anybody did it on behalf of the party it might be done casually while having chit chat.
