Imphal, August 03: Continuing with protest demons trations against kidnapping children, protest rallies and sit-in-protests were staged at different parts of the State today.

The protest demonstra tions were jointly organised by local clubs located at Khongman, Singjamei Kshetri Leikai, Ningom thong etc.

The rally christened ''Mass Rally on Child Care and Protection" started from Akampat and passed through Monkhang Lambi, Ningomthong, Okram Chu thek, Khongman, Singjamei bridge and Kshetri Leikai before terminating at the starting point.A public meeting was also held there.

Among oth ers, the meeting was addressed by UCM presi dent Konsam Langamba and AMUCO advisor Dr Organisation on the same Dhanabir Laishram.

On the other hand, a pro test sitting was staged at issue of missing and kid napped children.

Moreover, protest sit Porompat under Ayang things were also staged by palli Progressive Women's local Meira Paibis at Kongpal Chanam Leikai community Hall.

Similar protest sittings were also staged at Sagolband Mabudhou Mantri Leikai and Nagamapal Lai Eshing Chaibi.
