Imphal, July 27: JAC constituted against the killing of Konsam Ingo of Yairipok Huidrom Leikai submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister yesterday claiming that the deceased was not connected to any UG group.

The memorandum signed by its secretary Huidrom Karnajit said that the deceased was an unskilled worker engaged in the building construction of Mini Secretariat within the DC complex Thoubal.

Ingo was the only bread earner of his family as his father is becoming older, added the memorandum.

The memorandum also demanded for a Magisterial Enquiry on the killing.

Meanwhile, Huidrom Maning Leikai United Club and Thingmaijam Leikai Women Association also claimed that Ingo was an innocent civilian having no connection with any UG group.
