Imphal, June 01 2022: Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Central Forest Division RK Amarjit Singh has directed one Seimang Mate from Urangpat Khunou to remove all structure and material and withdraw from the 'illegal' occupation within the Langol Reserve Forest land on or before June 6 .

The DFO said that all constructions or deposits within the said area will be removed without further intimation and legal actions initiated if the direction is not heeded.

"In the event of non-acceptability of this order, appeals shall be preferred with the Chief Conservator of Forest within 30 days as per Rule no 73 (8) of the Manipur Forest Rules, 2021," it added.
