MC, NLSC, BC, RC secure victories in MU inter college football tournament

Imphal, October 23 2024: Mangolnganbi College, Nambol L Sanoi College, Biramangol College and Regional College notched up contrasting victories in Wednesday's fixtures of the A Pratap Memorial MU Inter College Football Tournament 2024 at Kha Manipur College, Kakching.

Mangolnganbi College kicked off the day with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Manipur College.

M Saterjit broke the deadlock in the 15th minute, followed by H Rooney doubling the lead just before halftime.

Y Shitaljit sealed the 3-0 win with a goal in the 56th minute.

M Rahul netted a hat trick as Nambol L Sanoi College delivered a resounding 9-0 victory over UNACCO College.

Seram Sekho opened the scoring in the 9th minute, followed by Th Robinson who added to the lead in the 26th minute.

Rahul then increased the advantage to 3-0 in the 28th minute, and A Santosh made it 4-0 in the 37th minute.

An own goal by Y Bhushan in the 38th minute further worsened UNACCO's situation.

Rahul struck again in the 44th minute, Th James netted the seventh goal in the 48th minute, and Rahul completed his hat trick in the 51st minute.

Th Robinson capped off the scoring with a goal in the 52nd minute.

In another fixture, Biramangol College defeated MIT 8-1, powered by Y Jack-son's hat-trick (5, 12, 16) .

W Abinash (36), L Dhananjoy (42), L Meiraba (46), Md Ja-kir Khan (58), and another goal from L Dhananjoy (60) ensured an emphatic win, with Th Tingh scoring a consolation goal for MIT in the 39th minute.

Regional College cruised to a 7-0 win over NEILIT .

I Indrajit led the rout with a hat-trick (7, 15, 32) .

A Naoba (23, 45) and M Ruskim (30, 58) each contributed two goals in their dominant performance.
