Manipur crush Arunachal in Col CK Nayudu Trophy

Manipur thumped Arunachal Pradesh by 218 runs in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium on Wednesday.
Manipur posted a formidable total of 313 runs in their first innings, led by Venekananda's 89, supported by Andyroshan (59), Sanjit (54), KL Meitei (35), Champion (24), Dibak Naorem (15), and Suresh Singh (11) .
Arjun starred for Arunachal Pradesh with eight wickets.
In reply, Arunachal Pradesh struggled, managing only 125 runs in 44 overs in their first innings against Manipur's effective bowling attack.
Romario claimed a five-wicket haul, while Sanjit took two wickets, and Dibak Naorem and KL Meitei contributed one wicket each.
Manipur continued their dominance by adding 163 runs in their second innings, driven by Hussain's 77, Andy-roshan's 32, Venekananda's 17, Suresh Singh's 15, and KL Meitei's 12 .
In their second innings, Arunachal Pradesh could only muster 133 runs in 62 overs.
Zamir and Dibak Naorem both took three wickets, supported by Sanjit, Romario, and KL Meitei who claimed one wicket each, ensuring Manipur's comprehensive victory.
