Chandel Subroto Cup: Oak Hill High School, St Paul's High School to meet in 11-15 boys' final

Oak Hill High School and St Paul's High School prevailed in their semifinal matches to set up U-15 boys' summit clash in the Chandel District Level Inter School Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament 2024 .
Angam scored twice in Oak Hill High School's 3-0 win over Koinonia Training School in their semifinal encounter at Mini Sports Complex on Friday.
Angam found the opener in the 13th minute and Chan doubled their advantage in the 17th minute before Angam netted his second and team's third goal in the 37th minute as Oak Hill High School eased into the final.
St Paul's High School, on the other hand, beat St Peter's Hr Sec School in a penalty shootout for their place in the final.
The match had to be settled by penalty shootout after the two sides remained tied 1-1 at the end of regulation time.
Lungir gave St Paul's the lead in the 55th minute, but Kophadeen equalised for St Peter's in the 61st minute, heading into the spot kicks.
In the shootout, St Paul's High School triumphed 5-3 against their opponents courtesy of Bishourjit, Abraham, Rengwarngam, Richard and Lungir who all converted their shots to steer their team to the final.
Meanwhile, MUGHSS overcame Anallon Christian Institute on penalties to reach the U-17 boys' final.
After a 1-1 deadlock, the semifinal match was decided by penalty kicks where MUGHSS prevailed 3-1 against their opponents.
In the shootout, Milan Thumli, Konitha Seltun and Shelny Tesong scored to help their side secure the win enroute to the final.
Earlier, Anallon Christian Institute took the lead in the 31st minute through Th Bung-war as Konitha Seltun made it all square for MUGHSS in the 39th minute.
Meanwhile, St Peter's Hr Sec School got the better of Koinonia Training School 3-2 to progress to the semifinals of the U-17 boys' event.
The-song Federer (1), N1 Arjuhring (27) and Kiirii Wilson (41) all scored in their victory.
For the losing, Bd Lungthangam (10) and Tongsin Wintha (60) were the scorers.
