SRWC vs YPHU for senior men's basketball title

Imphal, December 04 2021: SRWC will lock horns with YPHU for the senior men's title in the 24th Senior State Basketball Championship.

SRWC booked the final slot edging out ESU 78-76 in a neck and neck competition today after YPHU overwhelmed YC Uripok 89-41 in a lopsided semi-final match.

Tutu scored the game high 22 points for ESU on the back of a four 3 pointers while his team mates Kemlin, Bobychand and Borish added 18, 13 and 12 points respectively to ensure ESU earned a comfortable semi-final win.

Akash (7), Lanchenba (6), Tanson (4), Marshal (2) and Nikash also scored for ESU in this one sided encounter against the Uripok team.

For YC, Peter Naorem scored highest 13 points followed by RK Bishwanath (10), Vivekananda (9), N Johny (6) and Th Chitaranjan (3) .
