Paona Memorial Football : Yaisa FC, Sarukh FC extend winning run

Yaisa FC and Sarukh FC extended their league round winning runs in the ongoing 3rd Paona Memorial 9-A-Side Football Tournament-2024 as PUBG United played out a goalless draw with Moreh FC today at EEO Lamding playground.
In a Group A match, Yaisa FC, who pulled off a 2-1 win over Charan FC in their league opener, rode on a double from Raju to seal a 3-1 win over Lamlai FC.

Sanathoi gave Lamlai FC the lead after 7 minutes but Arnold pulled level for Yaisa FC in the 18th minute before his compatriot Raju scored back to back in the 26th and the 49th minutes to make it 3-1 at the end.
Meanwhile in a Group D match staged later, Sarukh FC who won 2-1 against Endeavour FC yesterday, beat Anas FC 2-1 for their second straight victory.
Sarukh FC and Anas FC played out a goalless draw in the first half but Feroz put Sarukh FC ahead after 27 minutes before Nur Sarif doubled the advantage in the 38th minute.
Anas FC fought back and halved the deficit through Marguf in the 42nd minute but they failed to press their charges further and went down by 1-2 goals.
In the third match of the day (Group C), PUBG United and Moreh FC shared a point apiece following a goalless draw.
