The Gym's Maradona clinches Mr Kangleipak title

Maradona Kshetrimayum of The Gym clinched the title of the 9th Mr Kangleipak 2018 organised by Manipur Amateur Body Builders' Association yesterday at Asha Cinema Hall, North AOC, Imphal.
The body building contest was attended by Nahakpam Indrajit, MLA, Kshetrigao AC; Tongbram Ibochouba Singh, president Manipur Amateur Body Builders' Association and vice president Indian Fitness and Body Builders Federation (IFBF) as chief guest and president.
Th Satyabarta Singh, MLA Yaiskul AC; Kunjeshore Singh, MLA, Patsoi AC; T Indrajit Meitei, Corporator, IMC Ward No 6; TR Manjunatha Hegde, chairman, IFBF; PSB Naidu, secretary general, IFBF; B Krishna Rao, treasurer, IFBF also witnessed the contest as guests of honours.
Senior overall title of the contest went to Maradona of The Gym while senior short group title went to L Neta of United Gym Manipur followed by L Kiran Singh of KBB, Tera; MM Matibur Rahaman of KBB, Khabeisoi; L Heramani of SBBF and Laimayum Sekhorjit Singh of NT Gym in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and the 5th place.
In the senior medium group, Maradona Kshetrimayum won the title while Kangjam Dineshchandra of SBBF and Potshangbam Chandrakanta Singh of S Tar Gym finished second and third.
Senior tall title went to L Shantikumar of SBBF while Thiyam Premjit Meitei of KBB, Tera claimed the runner up title.
In the junior short group, Laimayum Amarjit of Divine Physique Gym bagged the first place while Md Hefijuddin of KBB, Khabeisoi and Soraisam Kamcha of Lainingthou Lam Ahingba Fitness Centre secured the second and the third place.
Nripen Singh Konthoujam of SBBF claimed the junior middle height group title while Kongbrailatpam Bidyamani of Subol Fitness Centre and Naobung Athokpam of SBBF finished second and third.
In the junior tall group, Rishikanta Chandam of Star Gym finished first and claimed the junior overall title.
Kishna Khundongbam of Star Gym and Laishram Avinash of KFC, Canchipur bagged the second and the third place.
In the sub-junior short group category, Chongtham Rison Singh of Zoya Fitness and Spa won the title and was followed by Mutum Kenedy Singh of Lamyanba Gym, Konjengbam Chingshangamba of Cleopatra Gym, Kongthoujam Sibaraj Singh of Cleopatra and Md Rafijuddin of Armstrong Gym in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and the 5th place.
Sub-junior medium height group title was fetched by Gunao Luwangthem of KFC, Singjamei while Khumukcham Warren Singh of Golden Gym, Soraisam Priyakar of Indrayaisana Well finished second and third.
MM Wahidur Rahaman of Super Gym and Takhellambam Kamaljit of the Gym bagged the fourth and the third place in this category.
Wangkhem Mahesh of Salai Body Sculpture won the Sub-junior tall height category title while K Jemson Meitei of Star Gym, Okram Manao Singh of Apollo Gym, Ningthoujam Haridas of Super Gym and Baboy Kshetrimayum of The Gym finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th and the 5th.In the super tall group of the sub-junior category, Maibam Romen Singh of Charhazar Pumping reon claimed the title while Randwij Athokpam of World Gym finished runner up.
Overall title of sub-junior category went to Gunao Luwangthem of KFC, Singjamei.
Physique challenge
Laitonjam Gulson of KBB, Tera was crowned overall men's physique title yesterday? Gulson claimed the men's physique title in the above 168 cm category while Maradona Yumnam of the same gym bagged the second spot.
H Khambathonglen of Patriots Gym, Chanam Prithiviraj of The Gym and Elangbam Olenba Meitei of World Gym secured the 3rd, 4th and the 5th place titles.
Md Fajirul Haque and Takhellambam Kamaljit of The Gym bagged the first and the second place in the below 168 cm men's physique contest while Hefajuddin of KBB, Khabeioi, Nitish Wahengam of The Gym and Chongtham Lanchingamba of SBBF finished 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Physically Challenged
N Jayenta Singh of RFA Thoubal claimed the title in the physically challenged category while Aslam Khan of Armstrong Gym finished runner up.
Women's Body Building
Wangkhem Jamuna Devi of RFA Thoubal won the women's body building title while Engudam Kabita Chanu of KBB, Tera and Busoria Kangjam of SBBF finished second and third.
Women's Fitness
Busuria Kangjam of SBBF claimed the women's fitness title while Thounaojam Jebiya of Super Gym claimed the second spot.
Kh Rameshori Devi of Velentina Fitness and Huidrom Piyainy of Velentina Fitness claimed the 3rd and the 4th spot in this category.
Master competitions
In the master competition for above 40 years, Kangjam Dineshchandra Singh of SBBF won the title while Anthony Zou of Super Gym finished second.
Y Ranjoy Meitei of Super Gym secured the third place in this category while Thongam Rameshwar of Pamkhal Gym and Salam Tomcha Singh of Subol Fitness Centre finished 4th and 5th.In the master above 50 years competition, Moirangthem Ranjit Meitei of NT Gym finished first while L Kiran Singh of KBB, Tera, MM Mutibur Rahaman of KBB, Khabeisoi, L Heramani Singh of SBBF and Ngariyanbam Biramangol Singh of SBBF claimed the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place titles.
K Dineshchandra also claimed the overall master title.
