Imphal, August 31: Roshan Singh's brace helped THAU defeat CHIKL by the odd goal in three with NYC also recording similar score margin victory over YPhU in today's matches of the L Sangita Devi Memorial Division I (IW) Football League Tournament being played at Chajing ground.

Roshan scored in the 45th and 71st minutes of the match while Khup Vaiphei netted the CHIKL goal in the 65th.NYC's rallied from a goal down to defeat YPhU with the latter taking the lead in the 47th minute through Suraj Singh.

Alobung restored parity in the 56th minute and Patising-pao slammed home the winner in the 71st.In a match of the MK Ghanendrajit Memorial Super Division (IE) Football League Tournament played today at Khabeisoi ground AIM, Khabam blanked Citizens' Club, Soibam Leikai 2-0 with Kh Bopichand (53rd) and Kh Surjit (59th) sharing the spoils.

In the Moirangthem Ibobi Singh memorial Division I (IE) Football League Tournament played earlier in the day at the same venue, RAU, Lairikyengbam Leikai and YDC, AWang Potsangbam drew 1-1 with Koroulemba providing the RAU breakthrough in the 11th minute and 10 minutes later Salim levelling the score.
