CRPF Inter-Battalion Tournament begins

Imphal, August 10 2024: The CRPF Inter-Battalion Tournament 2024 kicked off at the parade ground of CRPF Group Centre, Imphal on Saturday.

The tournament was declared open by Dr Vipul Kumar, IG M&N Sector CRPF.

The opening event featured a parade of teams from IG M&N Sector, GC Imphal, 32 Bn, 86 Bn, 87 Bn, 107 Bn, and 143 Bn.

In his speech, De Vipul Kumar stressed the importance of sports in fostering camaraderie, teamwork, mental and physical fitness among the CRPF personnel.

He also praised the initiative of DIG GC Imphal Sh Anil Kumar Bhardwaj and his team in organising the tournament.

The opening event was followed by a friendly match between the team led Dr Vipul Kumar and the team of Sh Premjit Meitei, DIG (ops).

Also present at the event were R Duidang, DIG, OP Singh (DIG), Vinay Anand Prakash, commandant, and N Kunjarani Devi, commandant, said a press release from PRO, M&N Sector, CRPF.
