Cyclone beat REYS in last ball thriller

Cyclone defeated REYS by one wicket in a last ball thriller in the MCA Elite Tournament at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangshangbam on Saturday.
After electing to bat first, REYS put up a score of 143 runs in 35 overs.
The mainstay of the innings was a patient fifty from Rahul.
Santosh (34) was the other main contributor as Jempu captured four wickets to put a brake on REYS batsmen.
William bagged two wickets and Kennedy scalped one.
William came to the rescue of Cyclone during the defining stage of the match with a crucial unbeaten knock of 25 which came off 24 balls.
At the same time, Sunil (24), Narshing (18) and Shomendro (18) stayed long enough at the crease to ensure that the team got close to the target for the late charge.
Robertson was the most successful bowler for REYS with two scalps while Superjit, Sanjay and Rajesh picked up one wicket each.
William of Cyclone was adjudged the man of the match for his all-round performance.
Tomorrow, Champ, Khagempalli will play Blue Hawk, Khurai.
