Imphal, December 27 2009: Champ, Khagempali wrest the title of the inaugural Heritage Cup T20 Cricket tournament with a four wicket win over Royal eleven Young Star (REYS), Nagamapal in the final at Luwangpokpa ground today.

Batting first, REYS scored 120 runs for six wickets before running out of overs.

In reply, Champ reached 122 in 18.4 overs losing same number of wickets to win the summit clash and claim the Rs 50,000 top award besides the running trophy.

Runners-up REYS were presented Rs 25,000 .

significantly, reys' shahadat, who claimed two rival scalps in 2.4 overs conceding 16 runs was declared man of the final match carrying cash award of Rs 6000.He also bagged the Rs 10,000 man of the series award with a competition figure of 6 wkts and 131 runs.
