Imphal, August 21 2018: Thoubal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a friendly volleyball Match at Thoubal Company Operating Base on 21 August.

The match was played between Thoubal Battalion troops and District Volleyball Association.

The District Volleyball Association Secretary, Mr Vijay Kishore, President of Thoubal Football Association, Mr M Shano along with Vice President , Mr Michael witnessed the match.

The match provided a forum for the youth of the area to interact with the troops.

The youth appreciated the effort shown by Assam Rifles to promote sports.
