Imphal, November 15 2018: Sajik Tampak Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) organised a friendly football match at Sajik Tampak football ground to upkeep the friendly relationship with the locals and instill in them spirit of sportsmanship and chivalry.

A total of one officer, one Junior Commissioned Officer and 15 other rank of Sajik Tampak Battalion and 14 locals participated the event.

The local boys won the match by 08-03 goals.

This event was witnessed by approx 50 individuals from the Sajik Tampak village who enthusiastically applauded and boosted their village team.

The event was lauded by one and all amongst locals and the effort to improve the interpersonal relations between villagers and Assam Rifles was appreciated by village head.
