Imphal, December 27 2009: A free medical camp was organised under Medical Officer and a team of paramedical staff of 28 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IG AR (South) at Lilong COB yesterday.

A total number of 218 patients were diagnosed and provided with free medicines during the camp.

Medical Officer also gave a lecture on health, hygiene, sanitation and first aid techniques.

Post Commander interacted with more than 20 Meira Paibis and village elders on the side lines of the medical camp.

RMO visited the nearby orphanage, Darul Yatama Lil Banat of Lilong Chaobak and conducted medical examination, stated a press release from PRO, IG AR (South).
