'Sanamahi Cheng Heiba' ritual on Jun 14

Imphal, June 12 2022: Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board will be performing the annual Sanamahi Cheng Heiba' (Inga Cheng Heiba) ritual at the shririe of Lainingthou Sanamahi, Haying Khongbal Uphong Yumpham on June 14 .

Addressing a press meet in this regard, Board Maibarel Maisnam Amuba (Imoba) Luwang stated that the ritual is performed every year on the 15th day of the month of Inga, to invoke the blessing of the almighty.

Although there is confusion on the auspiciousness of the day of the ritual for this year, it can be performed after carrying out necessary remedies.

The ritual will begin from 4 am and end around 2 pm, he informed and appealed to the people to take part in the ritual.
