Shiv Sena to submit memorandum

Shiv Sena Manipur State on Friday asked the State Government to scrap its demand at the Centre to exclude Manipur from the purview of the Citizenship Amendment Bill and advised it to join hands with the student organisations, CSOs-instead for withdrawal of the Bill.
Speaking to media persons at the office of the party in Babupara, its president M Tombi said that though the invitation of the Chief Minister for an all political party meeting on January 28 came late, the party welcomes the call.
The all political party meeting regarding the Bill will convene at 9 am of January 28 .
He further said that State leaders are planning to visit Delhi and submit memorandum to the Prime Minister, Home Minister, party's National leaders and MPs.
The party is with the people of the State against the Bill, he said.
