Miscreants set ADC office on fire

Tamenglong, September 21 2018: A group of individuals suspected to be students set fire to the office of the Autonomous District Council, Tamenglong district Headquarters yesterday midnight.

According to a source, the fire occurred around 12.30 am and has reportedly destroyed a computer set, laser printer, documents and furniture.

It can be recalled that Tamenglong and Noney Districts Citizen Welfare Forum had warned to shut down the ADC office indefinitely in the local dailies.

The forum had also cautioned to block NH 37 and ban all National projects being implemented in the two districts, from the midnight of September 18 till the midnight of September 20 .
