Noney, February 28 2023: Prohibitions under CrPC 144 have been imposed within the entire jurisdictional areas of Joujangtek village, Longmai Sub Division under Noney district, more particularly along Bishnupur-Tupul Road.

An order to this effect was issued by Joseph Pauline Kamson, IAS, District Magistrate, Noney today.

As per the order, a report was received from a reliable source about the likelihood of serious breach of peace, disturbance of public tranquility and grave danger to human lives and properties within the aforementioned area.

The order further informed that Government agencies involved in the enforcement of law and order and the maintenance of essential services will be exempt from the prohibition imposed.
