Cache of arms and ammunition recovered

Imphal, May 13 2011:
A cache of arms and ammunition was recovered by troops of 29 Assam Rifles from a place near the Taret River on the south of Sarel Saisem village of Chandel district during a search operation yesterday, said a statement of the IGAR(S) today.
The recovered arms and ammunition are one country made pistol, nine AK magazines, 270 AK live rounds, 31 numbers of .303 ammunition, one ICOM Radio set with spare battery and one ICOM battery charger.
