Ban on import of food items without license

Imphal, January 10 2020:
Import offood items from foreign countries and their sales without import license is prohibited under the Food Safety and Standards (Imports) Regulations informed a notification of the Director of Health Services/ Additional Food Safety Commissioner, Manipur.
Violation of the notification shall be liable for punishment including fine as per provisions of the Food Safety Act 2006, said the notification.
