Imphal, December 27 2009: On the occasion of the Christmas, Mass prayers were organised by 23 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGA (South) at unit Church for Shanghsak Khunao and Shangshak Khullen villages on December 24th evening and 25th morning respectively.

In a press released issued by PRO, IG AR (South) stated that football and volleyball matches were also organised at Shangshak yesterday.

Commandant and all ranks of 23 AR and villagers witnessed the matches.

Commandant 23 AR felicitated both the teams and prizes were distributed to the winner teams.

The villagers also organised a grand feast for all the guests from 23 AR, the press release stated.
