Kangpokpi police seize DIC liquor

Kangpokpi, August 10 2021: As part of its liquor drive in Kangpokpi District Headquarters and surrounding vicinity, Kangpokpi Police Station OC team seized a huge quantity of DIC liquor this morning at Daili village.

The police team led by Inspector Henminthang Kipgen, OC Kangpokpi seized around 300 litres of DIC liquor from the possession of Arubam Chaka (30), d/o Hekao of Marambang village in Senapati District while conducting frisking and checking along NH-2 .

According to sources, the seized liquor was transported in a Maruti EECO Van bearing Regd No MN06LA 2474 driven by Ganesh Chahar (31), s/o Gopal Darjee of Maram Bazar, Senapati.

The seized items were handed over to Excise department Kangpokpi after completing necessary formalities.
