Imphal, July 01 2021: Narcotic and Affairs of Border (NAB), Manipur arrested one drug trafficker Jangkholun (32) along with 375 grams of heroin, and 20,000 World is Yours (WY) tablets from Yaiskul this evening at around 5 .

The team, under the supervision of NAB SP-K Meghachandra, arrested the person acting on specific information about transportation of banned drug items along the National Highway 102 (Imphal-Moreh) .

According to a source, the team arrested Jangkholun of Suongpi village under Tuibong block while he was coming towards Babupara from Singjamei side on a Bolero SUV.

On searching the Bolero SUV, the NAB team detected 30 soap caps containing 375 grams of heroin and 20,000 WY tablets on spot.

NAB Manipur also seized a Bolero driven by the suspected drug trafficker and registered a case for further legal action under ND&PS Act.
