Source: Chronicle News Service
Senapati, November 23 2021:
Around 100 goods laden trucks and pick-up trucks have reportedly left Mao Gate for Imphal under strict security escort.
While some trucks had already passed Senapati and Kangpokpi, around 20-30 trucks were reportedly stopped by blockade supporters at Senapati.
Although the minutes of the meeting are not known, Senapati DC and SP held a joint meeting at Senapati police station on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, suspected blockade supporters reportedly destroyed windshields of some trucks that passed through Senapati.
They also burned tyres on the road to block movement of the goods carriers.
