Awareness prog on HIV, viral hepatitis held

Thoubal, September 20 2024: A day-long awareness cum screening programme on HIV, Hepatitis B and C was organised jointly by Helping Home De Addiction Rehabilitation Centre and MNP+ Imphal at the conference hall of the rehabilitation centre at Yairipok Ningel, on Friday.

The programme was attended by Thoubal CMO Dr Y Nokul and National Viral hepatitis Control Programme, Thoubal nodal officer Dr RK Kamala as presidium members while MNP+ representative L Bimol Singh, as the resource person, elaborated on HIV and hepatitis B and C.Around 69 individuals were screened for HIV, and hepatitis B and C during the event.
