Interaction programme to promote 'Jal Shakti Abhiyan' held

Churachandpur, August 08 2021: Assam Rifles Battalions of Churachandpur Sector under the aegis of IGAR(S) organised an online interaction to promote water conservation and rain water harvesting in remote villages of Churachandpur, Pherzawl, Bishnupur and Noney districts yesterday.

With an aim to educate locals, lecture cum demonstration at various places were organised on importance of rain water harvesting and on storage and filtration of rain water for usage during summers.

The locals were also educated about the conservation of natural resources to maintain the ecological equilibrium.

The drive witnessed huge participation from villagers.
