Imphal, August 31: A drug abuser who also offered to sell blood to patient parties coming to RIMS was pulled up personnel of 5th IRB who were on duty in RIMS campus from near Gynae Ward this morning.

The drug abuser has been identified as Kshetrimayum Abung alias Jotish (27) s/o Jugen of Thoubal Awang Leikai.

After apprehending the Abung, the IRB personnel informed RIMS Medical Superintendent Y Mohen.

Later, in accordance to the instruction of the Superintendent, the drug abuser was handed over to police.

Quoting Abung, police sources said that Abung has around 10 rickshaw pullers under him.

When relatives of patients came for blood test, he followed them and offered to sell blood.

Abung is currently using the drug Lobain, he reportedly disclosed.
