Imphal, July 11:
Following incessant rain in the last few days throughout Manipur, water levels of all the major rivers in the State are flowing above the warning level.
According to reports received from the Irrigation and Flood Control Department's Control room, Imphal River is currently flowing eight inches above the warning level while the water level at Lilong, which is the meeting point of three rivers, is running above the flood stage mark.
Reports further stated that Irilbung River is running above eight inches above the warning level while the water level at Nambul River is relatively safe in comparison.
