The annual prize distribution to the successful can- didates of Aimol tribe in HSLC and HSSLC examination, 2004 was held at Aimol Baptist Fellowship Church, Imphal at National Games Village, Zone 1.Speaking at the occasion, executive secretary of the Fellowship LC Aimol encouraged the students to continue to work hard and keep up the prestige of the Aimol tribe.
On the other hand, the 3rd annual prize distribution function organised by Okram Sagei Apokpa Trust (Thoubal Taba Pu) to felicitate talented students of HSLC, HSSLC and CBSE examination, 2004 was held today at MDU Hall, Yaiskul Lane.
Debina Longjam of Little Flower School, who secured first position in the HSLC examination, 2004 was honoured with Donson Okram Memorial Award, Lourembam Gaytri of Tiny Tot�s Unique School who stood second in the same examination with Okram (O) Tampak Devi Memorial Award and Rabichandra Singh Takhellambam of St Joseph�s School with Okram Bishambar Singh Memorial Award.
In the first three toppers in the Higher Secondary Examination, 2004 in the science stream, namely 1st topper Diana Thongjaomayum of Havard School, 2nd topper Chinglaiphaba Chongtham of International School of Resource and 3rd topper Ngangom Surjakumar Singh of HRD Academy were also felicited with Okram Tomba Memorial Awards at the occasion.
Art stream toppers, namely Chandam Geetanjali Devi of TG Higher Secondary School, Khagembam Thoinuhenbi Chanu, also of TG Higher Secondary School and Pamkhuila Shaiza of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Maram were respectively presented with Okram Ibomcha and Bujari Memorial Award, Okram Indramani Singh award and Dr Okram Kunjakishor award.
The first three toppers of examination in the commerce stre am, namely Shikha Jain , Priya Jain and Manisha Jain, all students of SD Jain Mahavir Higher Sec School were also felicitated with merit award at the function.
Netaji Memorial Club has also be organised a similar felicitation function at the premises of the club today.
Meanwhile, Kuki Students� Organisation (KSO), Sugnu Block has announced that it would be felicitating meritorious students under its jurisdiction during a function at Chingtam Community hall on July 17.DC of Chandel District W Ajit Singh, SDO of Chakpikarong Pauchindou Simte and social worker Ngamlet Baite would be attending the function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
