Cervical Cancer awareness / screening camp organised

Thoubal, January 29 2022: A Cervical Cancer awareness cum screening camp was held at Ragailong today as a part of the observation of the Cervical Cancer Month 2022 .

The camp was organised by the Gynaecologic Oncology Unit, JNIMS in collaboration with the Department of Pathology and Department of Radiation Oncology of JNIMS in association with Ragailong Women's Society.

Professor L Sushila, HOD Pathology JNIMS, Dr Helen Kamei, Associate Professor, Gynaecologic Oncology Unit JNIMS and Dr L Purnima Devi, Assistant Professor, Radiation Oncology JNIMS spoke on the occasion.

Altogether 50 women were screened for cervical cancer in today's camp.
