Imphal, October 06: Department of MAHUD observed World Habitat Day at State Guest House with Secretary MAHUD S Sunderlal, Chief Town Planner N Gitkumar and MAHUD Director M Joy as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively today.

Manipur University Department of Economics Professor Dr Ch Priyoranjan, Environment and Ecology Wing Analyst Dr T Brajakumar and Ereibak Editor Irengbam Arun spoke on the occasion as resource persons.

The theme of this year's observance is 'Harmonious Cities'.
