Awareness / detection programme of breast and cervical cancer conducted

Thoubal, November 01 2026: An awareness and detection programme of breast and cervical cancer was organised today at Thoubal Mela ground.

Lions Club of Imphal Leimarol organised the programme in collaboration with City Hospitals and Research Centre and Lions Club of Imphal Panthoibi, said a press note by the club.

More than 270 people took part in the awareness and detection programme and availed the opportunities provided in today's camp.

Free medicines were also distributed.

It may be noted that volunteers from Thoubal Assembly Constituency MLA also extended support for the successful conduct of today's camp.
