Child bravery award winners
Manipur State Council for Child Welfare is drawing the attention of National Child Bravery Award winners in the State between the periods 1957 to 2015 as the Central government is planning certain benefits for them.

Students feted
Thoubal Municipal Council Ward No.10, Ward Development Committee organised a felicitation programme to honour those who have secured first division in the recently decalred BOSEM, CBSE and COHSEM examinations at the Thoubal Ningthougi Laibung.
Seminar begins
A two-day national level seminar kick-started at the Standard College, Kongba auditorium in Imphal East on Saturday.
ICHR member Prof Gangmumei Kamei inaugurated the seminar organized by the college's History Department.
The theme of the seminar is "Socio-Economic Conditions of India Before 19th Century with Special Reference to the North-East India" .
Meritorious award by Naharol Yaiphakol
The eight meritorious awards for Naharol Yaiphakol, Naorem Leikai were distributed to 178 students on Saturday.
Karam Shyam, MLA Langthabal Assembly Constituency, local leaders and administrators of schools around the locality were also present during the function.
Students from Nursery to Class 12 were awarded for their excellence.
Meritorious students honoured
Altogether 44 meritorious students who scored higher marks in the BOSEM and COHSEM exams 2015 from Kyamgei village in Imphal East were honoured with awards on Saturday.
The function was organized under the aegis of the United Progressive Adult's Association (UPAA) in collaboration with six local clubs of the area and Kyamgei Gram Panchayat at Kyamgei Mayai Leikai.
MPP Lamlai committee formed
Manipur People's Party had formed a new committee for Lamlai Assembly Constituency.
The committee plans to strengthen its functioning in the constituency.
The newly formed committee has seven members with Ng Bikram as president, T Dara as General Secretary.
The committee was formed in presence of O Jugindro Vice president of the political party.
