Imphal, December 27 2009:
All the six individuals, suspected to be PREPAK cadres who were killed in a reported encounter with troops of 8 Assam Rifles near Leiboldung village in the border of Chandel and Churachandpur districts on December 23 could not be identified till date.
Meanwhile, a press release issued by the OC of Singhat police station said that the corpses would be disposed off in case there is no claim by January 1 .
Of the six slain men now lying at RIMS mortuary, one was wearing unfit camouflage pants while the others were clad in civilian fatigue.
All of them wore canvas hunting boots.
