MEELAL team given warm reception after Bangladesh visit

Imphal, September 16 2026: Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL) today accorded a warm reception to its delegates who returned after conducting a 10-day Meetei Mayek teaching programme in Bangladesh.

The programme was held from September 1 to 10 at Manipuri Cultural Complex, Tetaigaon, Adampur, in collaboration with Directorate of Language Planning & Implementation, Government of Manipur, and 10 other organisations, as part of Manipuri Language Day observance.

The team- president Langoljam Nongmailembi, secretary general Paonan Thakaba Meetei, secretary education Maibam Indrajit Meetei and Patriotic Writers Forum secretary Naorem Rakesh- was received at MEELAL head office in Imphal.
