Imphal, July 09 2015 : A silent sit-in-protest was staged by locals of Lairikyengbam Leikai near Lamlong bridge demanding implementation of Inner Line Permit System in the State after a student from the locality was killed in police crackdown on protesters demanding ILPS implementation yesterday at Minuthong area.

Protesters, wearing black masks, held placards reading 'Manipur Govt Repeal the MRVTMW Bill or Kill us' 'We will not falter' 'We will not fail,' 'Kill us like Robinhood' etc.
