Drive conducted to check price hike

Moreh, June 07 2021:
A team of Moreh Consumer Club carried out a drive at shops and hotels in Moreh Keithel area today to check unreasonable price hike of essential items.
During the drive it was found that many shops and hotels were found selling items above the normal rates and one shop was found selling expired products as well.
Vice president of Moreh Consumer Club, Gineo Singson directed the shop owners who were selling essential items at high prices to come to the office of the Club and the shop which was selling expired edible items was shut by the team.
The Moreh Consumer Club appealed to all concerned not to increase the prices of essential commodities taking undue advantage of COVID-19 pandemic.
