Imphal, January 03: The financial help of the Family Benefit Scheme given to widows by the Social Welfare Department has been distributed to 11 women of Thangmeiband AC today.

The amount was presented to the beneficiaries during a simple function held at the Thangmeiband Kabrabam Leikai residence of MLA Radhabinod Koijam.

Each of the beneficiaries are entitled to get a one time payment of Rs 10,000 under the Scheme.
