Test postponed
Manipur University department of mass communication has informed the general public that the entrance test for admission to MA in Mass Communication which scheduled to be conducted on September 10 at 11:30 am in the old social science block, commence department of the University has been postponed until further notice from the department, this was informed by HOD Dr Ganesh.
Fuel rationing for school vans
Fuel rationing for all vans in school service will be done on Wednesday (September 9) at BE Petrol Pump, North AOC.
Distribution of petrol will start at 5 am and continue till 6 pm, All Manipur School Students' Transporter Association (AMSSTA) informed in a release on Tuesday.
Every van from serial number '981 to last' will be given 10 litre of petrol, it informed.
MUSTSU appeals
Manipur University Tribal Students' Union (MUTSU) appealed the authority that the entrance examination which was earlier scheduled for September 11 should be postponed so as to avoid the inconveniences of the students arising out the prevailing situations of the State in the hill districts.
PREPAK (Pro) refutes
PREPAK (Pro) has refuted the claim of security forces on the arrest of Laishram Brojen Singh (28) s/o L Sapta Singh of Khangabok Meisnam Leikai and clarified that the person has no any connection with the outfit.
Free coaching class
Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) Bishnupur District Committee is organizing free coaching classes for Class X from the last week of September at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School and Ningthoukhong Model High School.
The subjects include Math, Social Science and Science.
Students can take forms from September 14-19 and to submit them on or before September 23 .
Power shutdown in CCpur, Moirang
Deputy General Manager, Sub-Station Division No-III of Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has informed the general public that the 132/33 KV Sub-Station, Churachandpur will be under shutdown from 6 am to 11 am on September 9 for repairing of 132 KV Circuit Breaker at the Sub-Station.
During this period of shutdown, power supply to the consumers of Churachandpur and Moirang Sub-Division will be affected.
