Kakching, June 18 2021: Loktak Battalion Assam Rifles of IGAR (East) apprehended one active cadre of the banned underground outfit KNA (I) from Tuisomjang village in Churachandpur district on Thursday.

Based on specific intelligence inputs regarding the presence of an active cadre in general area of Tuisomjang, the AR troops launched an operation and successfully apprehended an active cadre of KNA (I) from Tuisomjang village, informed a PRO IGAR(S) release.

The captive identified as Thongkhosat Haokip of Tuisomjang village has been handed over to Churachandpur Police Station for further investigation.
