Awareness on drug abuse prevention held

Thoubal, December 14 2022: Real Recovery Home, De-Addiction cum Rehabilitation centre, Thoubal Wang-mataba organised a one-day awareness programme on 'Role of Family in Drug Abuse Prevention' at the conference hall of the Home on Wednesday.

The programme was attended by Home project director Herojit Akoijam and MNP+, Manipur counsellor Loitongbam Bimol as resource persons.

Speaking as the resource person, Herojit Akoijam pointed out that parents/guardians play a huge role in keeping their wards away from drugs and other harmful substances.

As part of the programme, 35 parents of the inmates of the Home were provided with CMHT cards.
